In short
Practical documents for people specifying a system: a camera planning guide covering the geometry that decides whether recognition works at all, and a pilot checklist setting out the acceptance criteria to agree before any vendor arrives on site.
Camera planning for face recognition
Pixels across the eyes, mounting height and angle, standoff, lighting direction and subject movement — the geometry that decides whether a deployment works at all, and what good placement still cannot fix.
For: Anyone about to specify cameras, or wondering whether existing ones will do.
ChecklistHow to run a face recognition pilot
What to agree before the vendor arrives, how many subjects a measurement actually needs, both error types to record, and how the result should be reported. Written to be used against Ayonix as well as by it.
For: Anyone who has been offered a demonstration and wants a measurement instead.
Buyer’s guideEnterprise face recognition software: a buyer’s guide
The five categories of system compared against the requirements that actually decide the choice, with six evidence questions for every vendor and a twelve-item procurement checklist.
For: Anyone at the start of a procurement, before a shortlist exists.

Frequently asked questions
Why are these guides written so they can be used against Ayonix?
Because a checklist only one supplier can pass is a sales document, and buyers can tell the difference. A guide that holds every vendor to the same standard is more useful, and being held to that standard ourselves is the price of publishing it. If following one of these leads you to a different supplier or a different category, that is a legitimate outcome.
Can I use these documents in a procurement process?
Yes. They are written for that, and the downloadable versions are plain text you can paste into a requirements document or a tender. Attribution is appreciated and not required.
Do I need to give an email address to download these?
No. The downloads are direct links with no form in front of them. Gating a procurement checklist behind a lead capture would undermine the point of publishing it, which is that buyers in this category are better served by information than by a follow-up call.

Use these against us
Work through the camera guide and the pilot checklist first. If they lead you to a different category of system or a different supplier, that is a legitimate outcome and better reached now than after a procurement.
