These terms apply to your use of facerec.ayonix.com, operated by Ayonix Co., Ltd.. They do not govern any Ayonix product, licence or contract — those have their own terms, agreed separately.
What this content is
Technical and commercial information about Ayonix face recognition, published so that a buyer or an engineer can evaluate it. Every high-risk factual claim on this site is registered with a source and a named reviewer before publication; the evidence register lists them all, along with the claims that were reviewed and rejected.
What this content is not
- Not a specification. Nothing here forms part of a contract, a warranty or a commitment about a product’s behaviour. A supported configuration for your deployment is confirmed in writing, not inferred from a web page.
- Not legal advice. Biometric regulation varies by jurisdiction, sector and purpose. You must assess the laws and requirements applicable where you deploy, with your own advisers.
- Not a performance prediction. This site publishes no accuracy percentage, because a figure without its threshold, dataset, gallery size and demographic breakdown cannot be reproduced. How a system performs at your site is established by a pilot there.
- Not an API or SDK reference. The developer pages describe integration models and deliberately contain no invented function names or endpoint paths. The real reference is released with an evaluation, versioned against the build you receive.
- Not a statement about third-party products. Where this site describes an integration with Milestone, Genetec or Network Optix, it does so from those vendors’ own published documentation, cited and dated. Their documentation is authoritative about their products; where this site and theirs differ, theirs is correct.
Third-party names and trade marks
Milestone, XProtect, Genetec, Security Center, Network Optix, Nx Meta, Nx Witness, ONVIF and other third-party names are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to identify those products accurately. Their use does not imply certification, endorsement, partnership or marketplace status, and none is claimed anywhere on this site. Where such a status matters to a procurement, verify it with that vendor directly.
Acceptable use of the forms
By using the enquiry form or the sample upload, you agree that you will not:
- Submit information about another person without authority to do so.
- Upload media you are not authorised to share. A camera view contains images of identifiable people, and this is the term that matters most on this page.
- Attempt to submit automatically, at volume, or to circumvent the rate limits.
- Attempt to use the forms to deliver malicious content of any kind.
Uploaded media is used for a technical assessment of the camera view and nothing else. It is never used to train any model, and it is deleted automatically within seven days. The privacy notice and the security page set out the handling in full.
Availability
This site is provided as it is. Ayonix does not guarantee that it will be available uninterrupted or that it will be free of error. Content may change without notice; when it does, the last-reviewed date on the page changes with it.
Links to other sites
This site links to primary sources — NIST, standards bodies, VMS vendor documentation, academic publishers — because a reader is better served by a source than by our summary of it. Ayonix does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Japan, where Ayonix is established. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection you may have where you live.

When these terms change, the last-reviewed date at the top of the page changes with them. The version on this page is the one in force.
